Santa’s Secret Stop comes to The Potter’s Heron in Ampfield on Saturday 19th December, from 12pm to 4pm. Little ones can meet Santa, have a photo with him and take home a small gift for £10, with every penny going to Project Secret Santa. We’ve had word from the North Pole: Santa is making a special stop in Ampfield during his busiest month of the year. Children can sit with the big man himself for a photo and head home clutching a small gift.

Every penny goes to Project Secret Santa

It’s £10 to meet Santa, and all of it goes to Project Secret Santa, helping to make Christmas brighter for local families. A little bit of magic for a very good cause? We’ll take that.

Gingerbread decorating with Chef Qin

Chef Qin is lovingly baking a batch of gingerbread men for little ones to decorate. Warm, spiced and just waiting for a festive makeover.

Expect a generous helping of creativity and some very imaginative gingerbread outfits. Whether any make it home uneaten is anyone’s guess.

Something for the grown-ups

While the kids get busy, mulled wine and mulled cider are £5. Archie Ray (@archieraymusic) is playing live in the bar from 3pm to 5pm, so you can sit back with something warming and soak up the festive buzz.

With Santa arriving at lunchtime, why not make a proper afternoon of it? Our Saturday menu at The Potter’s Heron is just the thing for a relaxed family lunch before or after the photos.

It’s a Saturday in the run-up to Christmas, so tables will go quickly. Book a table and make sure the whole family has a seat.

Santa’s Secret Stop runs from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday 19th December, and there’s no need to book, so just pop along whenever suits. The night before, Rich & Sam Duo close our Live Music Fridays, if the grown-ups fancy a festive warm-up.
