Our Christmas Launch Party at The Potter’s Heron in Ampfield takes place on Thursday 26th November from 5pm.

We’re switching on the festive lights, bringing in live music and letting you try a few treats from our new Christmas menu.

Here’s everything you need to know about the big switch-on.

When do the Christmas lights go on?

The Christmas lights go on between 6pm and 7pm. Watch The Potter’s Heron come alive as the lights and decorations sparkle into life for the season.

Cue the oohs, the aahs and a fair few phones held aloft. We won’t judge if you film the whole thing.

Live music from Beth

Beth (@bethmontaguemusic) is playing live in the bar from 6pm to 9pm. Grab a seat, settle in with something warming and let her set the soundtrack for your evening.

A first taste of our Christmas menu

Our kitchen team will be bringing out canapés and treats from our new Christmas menu. It’s a sneak peek at what’s coming this festive season, and a very tasty excuse to linger.

Fancy staying on for dinner? Our à la carte menu at The Potter’s Heron is on all evening, so a festive drink can easily turn into a proper night out.

The launch party is the perfect time to start plotting. Our Christmas party menu is made for festive catch-ups with friends, family or the team, and our Christmas Day menu means nobody has to cook on the big day.

What else is on this Christmas?

The launch is only the beginning. Live Music Fridays kick off the very next evening with Adriana Sings on Friday 27th November. Santa drops in on Saturday 19th December for Santa’s Secret Stop, and we’ll see in 2027 together on New Year’s Eve.
